If you are up for a peak experience in your life, walk a leg of the Camino with a Carol. She is a fabulous guide!  She takes care of all the planning including reservations for places to stay along the way, and transport of luggage (we only carry a day pack) but even more important, beyond the logistics, she provides superb support, encouragement and humor.   Of course there were moments when I was hot, or tired or my feet were saying, “enough,” but it all paled compared to what came to call, Camino Magic.  All the zillions of people who have journeyed on the Camino and all their reasons for doing it —  everything from adventure to deep spiritual intentions –it’s in the air and it carries you along.  You meet people along the way and there is instant kinship; it’s an experience unto itself and no amount of describing it can come close to the actual reality.  I am headed back for another leg of the Camino with Carol this coming fall and with eager anticipation, looking forward to it.

In Sept 2018, I went on my first walking holiday. Carol arranged a 6 day walking holiday in Menorca on the islands southern part of their Camino. Each day was well paced to help me build up confidence as the week went by. We had such fun. Carol is warm, funny,, supportive and empowering.  I would not hesitate to walk the Camino with Carol again.

I joined the “Camino Confidence” group for the hike from Sarria to Santiago March 28th to April 11th this year. I thought it was all about the hike and it was, but it was way more. I met friends from the USA, and Australia that I am still in contact with today. Our hike quickly became a hike of love, friendship and support. We were 8 women ( of an age) that were happy to day pack and not worry about our bags which appeared every night at our destination. I will never forget the amazing, yet quaint village accommodations. Absolutely gorgeous, and secure . This was a must for me and my friend, who were happy not to be let down at the unreliable hostels. I loved a hot shower and amazing food every night. I am planning my next hike and will absolutely be a first call to Carol Alexander at Camino Confidence. Cheers

I am so glad that I came across Carol and Camino Confidence while planning my 1st camino.  Carol is very generous with her knowledge, experience, and time.  Her advice and recommendations were spot on.  It was so clear that Camino Confidence is her passion and not just a job or business.  Most importantly, she made the planning fun!

She was supportive and enthusiastic when I told her that I would like to continue on my own to Santiago after the guided tour.  Her reassurance and confidence in me gave me the courage to press on. 

Throughout my unguided journey I could sense her “presence”.  She would send me text messages to find out how I was doing and kept an eye on me via my Facebook postings.

I’m a meditation mindfulness and well-being mentor. I live in Ireland and recently took the loveliest group of people from Ireland to Walk the Camino from Sarria to Santiago De Compostela.
I was very fortunate to be introduced to the Wonderful Carol Alexander Price from Camino Confidence through a mutual friend.
We’ve had the most fantastic Camino experience. Carol is a top class Camino Guide. And we will be walking with Carol again later this year. 
We did the Camino over 8 days. It was so perfect for us. The fact Carol is fluent in Spanish was a huge help. The accommodation was very good. Food overall was excellent.
Personally I had a very bad blister that Carol attended to with great expertise and it healed really well.
Carol became very much a part of our group and a good friend.
We felt very safe and well minded.

Having done 3 trips with Camino Confidence, I must say that your service is amazing.  And beyond that, you yourself are a wonderful woman.  I love spending time with you.  I will never forget the time on our first Camino when the group split up, with some taking a taxi partway, and then walking to the next albergue.  I was with you, in the group walking the entire way.  When you got the message on WhatsApp that the group who took the taxi had made it to the alburgue, you cried.  You had been so concerned, and were so relieved that they had arrived safely.  That is the kind of person you are. I found doing the Camino with a group led by Carol of Camino Confidence really fantastic. Carol knows what she’s doing and she knows what she is talking about as she has years of knowledge and experience. It’s so great to know you are in good hands with someone you can trust and who you feel safe with. I highly recommend Camino Confidence as safety is number one when walking the pilgrims’ path on the Camino. Carol also brings a fun aspect to your trip, she has a great sense of humor which really adds a touch of color to your whole experience. Our group will definitely be back. Carol Alexander-Price , having walked with you on two previous occasions, and hopefully the ingles next year, I can only say that you offer an excellent service.  Weather too hot, not a problem , a taxi is arranged . Minor injuries along the way, no problems, feet sorted, minor strains etc and again if necessary taxi sorted.  Accommodation? I know you personally visit every place we stay at, and as you or your guides stay there as well, your standards are high.This doesn’t include the Zoom meetings, advice on how to get to and from, packing tips and ideas. Having a guide with you when walking  24/7 is worth every extra penny, well it is for me. ‘Boardwalk Queen’, you  deliver an excellent service. Xx  Val Watts UK
