Camino Confidence Mission Statement
Camino Confidence has been created by women for women and our aim is to empower women to walk the Camino de Santiago. Through our incredibly supportive community and our organized Camino walks, we can provide you with the opportunity to confidently face challenging life changes, rediscover yourself and your life’s purpose, and experience the joys of walking the Camino.
Small steps in the right direction can turn out to be the biggest step of your life.

Empowerment
Many women who have over the years concentrated all their energy on nurturing their families or even relying on their partners/husbands for support, have, through Camino Confidence, the opportunity to concentrate on themselves and find their own power. During menopause, we women suffer from various mind set issues brought on by anxiety & lack of confidence & through pilgrimage can empower ourselves.
Life Essence
During a woman's lifetime, their roles of mother, grandmother, wife etc. can cause them lose sight of themselves. We believe that through the Camino Confidence community and pilgrimage, she will have an opportunity to rediscover herself and remember what makes her soul sing.
Female Community
Women who arrive at the change of life phase of their lives & have possibly had their own values diluted, will discover in Camino Confidence, a place where they can gather the strength & renew their purpose through pilgrimage & learning.

During a Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, a woman is able to make herself a priority & enjoy a simple existence stripped bare of all responsibility & experience a journey back to themselves.

Founder of Camino Confidence and Camino Guide Carol Alexander-Price
I am originally from the UK and have lived in Spain for almost 20 years. I now live on the Camino Frances just above Fromista with my 4 dogs and two cats enjoying a very simple happy existence.
My first Camino was the Camino Frances back in 2003. It was honestly the best experience of my life, and when I arrived in Santiago de Compostela I vowed I would return here to live and empower women to experience the Camino as I did. These days I am extremely lucky to work alongside some of the most experienced female guides along the Camino.
With my intimate knowledge of Spain, the language, the people, the culture and the Camino de Santiago, I can help to remove your anxieties with my guided and unguided itineraries and allow you to simply experience the joy of being on the Camino.
